Friar Johnpaul Cafiero, OFM is a Franciscan Priest in Chicago/St.Louis.  Born and raised in the New York Metro area, Friar Johnpaul is a former police officer who has worked as a counselor and chaplain at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center in Chicago. Friar Johnpaul's love of the poor and outcasts is only surpassed by his love of the scripture. This comes through his many speaking and preaching engagements across the United States and around the world. He is a pastoral associate and preacher at Holy Family Parish in Inverness, and now serves as chaplain for the Illinois State Police. His family’s Oz collection is on loan to the OZ Museum in Wamego, Kansas.
